TDD 2009:Intra-level Blogging Competition

Total Defence has five aspects - Military Defence, Civil Defence, Economic Defence, Social Defence and Psychological Defence.Today, I would like to talk about one of the aspect- Military Defence.

I think I can defend many things and people like,the merlion,old folks,the National Anthem,Singapore Flag,different races,neighbours,and school. I think I must always defend my country because Singapore is part of me. I will defend the people whenever they need help or they are in trouble. I look foward to turn to 18 years old so that I can be enlisted to become a National Serviceman and ensue that Singapore would be a better place to live in.

I must study hard in order to defend Singapore because if i study hard i can go to the army and defend my country i can also keep myself because if i dont keep myself clean i can get diseases and fall sick.

Entry 3:My visit to Thye Hua Kuan Hospital

I see many residents in the hospital.Some were young while some are old.I feel sorry for them as they cannot go back home and celebrate chinese new year with their family.I learn that not everyone is fortunate like me and i also learn that even some young residents were very young yet they have diseases.I can contribute to bring food to the residents there.I have learn something and hope to have such activity again.

Entry 2:Shool's Vision,Mission and Values

The school's Vision is A school of distinction of Nurturing Future-Ready Citizens of Character.The school's Misson is Providing quality education to equip pupils with the values,knowledge and skills for the 21st century.The school's values is P-Passion for learning, I-Integrity our foundation and E-Excellence in everything we do.I think the school's Vision,Mission and Values is good for the student to follow.No.Because i have not seen any student following the school's Vision,Mission and Values.No.I can practice the school's Vision,Mission ad Values.The teachers can organised group work and some projects in class to help the students learn the values.
