Entry 7:Festivals in Singapore

We celebtrate Chinese New Year.We celebrate Chinese New Year because we are welcoming the new year.We go around visiting exchanging Hong Baos and oranges.The malays celebrate Hari Raya Puasa and Hari Raya Haji,the indians celebrate Deepavali while the Christians celebrate Christmast.They celebrate them because it is their culture.I think celebration of various festivals help in strengthening racial harmony amoung the various race in Singapore because it helps them to know each others culture and try to make harmony.We cannot laugh at people with different races or we cannot strengthed the bonds between different.
